4 toolsWhat are the free candidate tools?
The eleven candidate tools help with the practical decisions around a Kenyan job application: checking whether an advert looks unsafe, preparing a focused letter and CV, estimating take-home pay, comparing published recruitment requirements, checking course readiness, practising interview answers and understanding how well a live vacancy fits.
Each tool explains the limits of its result. A score is not a hiring decision, a calculator is not a payslip, and a recruitment checker is not an announcement that a new cycle is open. Where the current evidence is too thin, the page says so instead of filling the gap with an invented date or figure.
Do I need an account to use the tools?
No account is required for a one-off check. Letter and CV drafts can remain in that browser so you can continue on the same device. An account is useful later for cross-device candidate features such as saved jobs and alerts, but browsing vacancies and following the employer’s application route remain open.
How are official rates and recruitment rules kept accurate?
Data-bound tools name the source and the date or cycle used. The net-pay calculator links to KRA, NSSF and Ministry of Health material; the eligibility checker identifies the exact historic advert; and the KUCCPS checker directs weighted-points questions to the official student portal. Never rely on a forwarded screenshot when the issuing body’s own page is available.
