The checker uses the last verified official advert and labels that cycle. It will not imply that recruitment is open now.

What should you know before using this tool?

This is practical guidance, not a decision by an employer, KRA, KUCCPS or a recruitment body. Where official rules or rates matter, the result names the source and date. If verified data is unavailable, the tool stops instead of guessing.

How does the Recruitment Eligibility Checker work?

Work through the published requirements for major public recruitment drives. Begin with the smallest amount of information the form needs, read the explanation beside the result, then compare it with the vacancy or official source you are using. The tool is designed to show its reasoning instead of returning an unexplained verdict.

Find the requirement that could stop an application before you submit it. It does not submit an application, contact an employer or make a public-body decision for you. A result is useful preparation, not permission, selection or a guarantee. When a rule or rate matters, the tool names the source or the dated cycle used.

What should you check before acting on the result?

Read the original vacancy from beginning to end, check the employer’s own website, and confirm that the apply address belongs to that organisation. Do not send money, a PIN, an ID photograph or certificates to an unverified contact. No legitimate employer charges an applicant at any stage.

Time-sensitive information can change after this page is updated. That is why data-bound tools stop when their evidence is missing or too small. A blank calendar, a suppressed salary figure or a limited-information match is an honest result—not a technical error.

What happens to the information you enter?

The interactive calculation runs on your device. The letter and CV builders can keep a local draft in the same browser for convenience; clear the form or browser storage before leaving a shared phone. Other tools discard their fields when you leave or refresh the page. Do not paste an ID number, KRA PIN, bank detail, password or confidential employer information into any tool.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Recruitment Eligibility Checker free?

Yes. The core tool is free and does not require a payment or candidate subscription. JobsInKenya.ke never charges a candidate to view or apply for a vacancy. If an advert, recruiter or message asks you for an application, registration, medical, training or placement fee, stop and verify the opportunity through the employer's official website.

Does this tool save my personal details?

The calculation runs in your browser. The application-letter and CV builders may keep a draft in that same browser so you can continue on the device; the other one-off tools discard their fields when you leave or refresh. No result is added to a candidate account automatically. Clear saved drafts before leaving a shared phone, and never enter an ID number, KRA PIN, bank detail or password.

Is the result an official decision?

No. The result is preparation guidance, not an approval, payslip, placement result, recruitment notice or hiring decision. An employer, KRA, KUCCPS or the named public body makes the real decision, and its current official notice always takes priority. Read the source linked beside a rule or rate before you spend money, travel or submit an application.

What should I do if the tool has too little verified data?

Use the official-source link or the ordinary job search and check again later. The tool deliberately withholds a deadline, salary figure or confident score when the evidence is missing, old or too concentrated. A blank calendar, a suppressed estimate or a limited-information match is an honest result, not permission to rely on a date or number circulating on social media.
